Welcome to Tournament No. 8. We are set for another 10 player, double match elimination tournament tomorrow evening (8/19) starting at 7pm.
Making up our 10 competitors are five from our Top 10 Power Ranking List. That includes number 1, 3, 5, 7, & 8. Rounding out the other half are two unranked returners hoping to make a splash in the top 10 and three brand new players to the league. We couldn't be more excited about the league continuing to grow.
Tournament No. 8 starts at 7pm sharp tomorrow night (Saturday 8/19) with #7 Ranked Ping Pong 101 (Eric) facing off against newcomer Table Tennis Tim with three more first round matches to follow. # 1 ranked Timeless Thrills & # 5 ranked Mother Goose 87 were fortunate enough to receive first round byes during yesterday's bracket selection.
Let us also note, league dominator & # 2 ranked Cody Watters is NOT competing in Tournament No. 8 which should be music to anyone's ears who has played in a tournament with Cody. This is because every tournament Cody has played in he has won. Take his absence as a blessing!
