En La Vía is a collaborative project documenting one person’s journey from Honduras to the U.S. In 2018, Moises and Federico crossed paths in San Pedro Sula, the industrial capital of Honduras, as he prepared for the process of relocating over the following five years. Moises’s upbringing in a gang-controlled territory marked by invisible borders exposed him to a culture of migration from a young age. The book weaves together Federico’s photographs and Moises’s imagery captured on mobile devices as he journeys across Mexico on the infamous freight train known as “The Beast” and creates a life in the U.S.
