We are delighted to host the official book release of 'Waiting for the Rain' by our friend and accomplished photographer, Phoenix Kanada.
On Saturday, February 18th from 5-8pm at 3714 J Street we will debut Phoenix's second published book. His first, 'Desert Sun' sold out the same night at its debut release and gallery.
Phoenix's new release, 'Waiting for the Rain' explores the ever changing seasons here in Northern California and how unrecognizable each has become over the years. Through his photography, Phoenix helps to preserve this landscape's natural beauty.
The book is 80 pages with 40 black and white photographs and includes a 5-piece poem written by Phoenix. It is 8 x 10 inches in size and sports a soft cover. 'Waiting for the Rain' was printed in California in an edition of 100 with each book numbered and signed by Phoenix himself.
